For more than 1400 years, this mountain deeloped into three actie olcanoes. Danan, Perbuatan and Krakatau olcanoes showed their major actiities on August 26th 1883.
The eruption which happened in the middle of the sea, affected areas located around the waters of Sunda Strait.
The olcanic ashes coered the sky aboe from the sun’s rays.
The 1883 eruption of Krakatau blasted olcanic ashes to the atmosphere. With the power equals to 10.000 megatons of atomic bomb, it produced a furious explosion.
The earth’s atmosphere was coered by olcanic ash for a few years and the global temperature changed afterwards. (Simkin & Fiske 1983)
